One of my personal favorites. Not necessarily for the story, not necessarily for the gameplay mechanics. But just for the cinematography of Control. Perhaps it is how Control managed to make its own better spin on the SCP universe. Perhaps it’s just because I add a weird obsession with the Objects of Power that I found captivating. The hotline, the Oceanview Motel, the floppy disk… I don’t know. Control just had an aura from beginning to end. Now, I must admit that Jesse’s voiceovers got tiring at some point. That the whole FBC, as much as it was such a telling metaphor of the tediousness of our administration offices, got annoying to navigate at some point. But still, Control was such a jewel.
