Redeemer throws down a brutal combat spread – combos, counters, environmental takedowns, you name it – and even tosses in couch co-op for a bloody good time. Unfortunately, the fun gets hampered by repetitive gameplay and a disappointing final boss. Technically, everything works, but the action lacks that spark of inspiration. Bugs and framerate drops, especially in co-op, further dampen the mood. Die-hard co-op beat-'em-up fans might find some fun here, but for most, Redeemer feels like a forgettable B-movie beatdown.
