2/5 ★ – herodotis's review of SMITE 2.

Smite 2 continues the trend of releasing sequels for multiplayer games that nobody asked for. From Overwatch 2 to CS 2, Smite is the new "victim" of releasing a game that is not only not expanding on its predecessor, but releasing with LESS content. Fewer gods, bugs for days, and a general lack of misunderstanding. Yes, Smite needed a revamp, having an ancient engine (UE 3 if I'm not mistaken), but this is not it. Of course, it is just a beta, and they can develop it to reach the full roster of gods and mechanics. But how is it always that games release with bugs and half-baked mechanics, yet the store is working flawlessly? Really a shame.
