4/5 ★ – hunkypet's review of 2064: Read Only Memories.

A supremely well written point and click adventure that also shares much of its identity with Visual Novels. I didn’t really know what to expect with 2064, but it’s left me in awe at its deeply rich characters and phenomenal world building. I am fully invested in what happens in the world of Neo-San Fransisco and cannot wait for its sequel later this year. I only have two small complaints. The games a little on the nose with how to refer to genders, characters sexual orientations and what people would be preferred to be referred as, I have no problem with this but at times I felt it cropped up way to often. My second issue is the games latter puzzles are randomised, luckily I managed to get through them with little to no hassle but can see how people could get infuriated with them. For me it’s rare treat, to have a story so well written and captivating that I can’t pry myself away from it. Magnificent Played on VITA
