2/5 ★ – hunkypet's review of Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure.

Me and my GF were looking forward to this. I had seen nothing about it other than a few screenshots and assumed it was a typical 3D adventure split into bite size sandboxes of each of the 6 Disney/Pixar films... It’s safe to say we have both come away from it glad it’s over.. this is mainly because it’s a remaster of a X360 Kinect release minus the Kinect controls and boy can you tell. The levels are linear, on rail like sections that take little around 5 mins to complete. That makes the game short but far from sweet! It was novel to kick around with the beloved Disney characters and hear all the amazing voice talent return, even the remastered visuals hold up, bright colourful and distinct. Though by the end you have more than had enough of what the game has to offer even if it only take’s a couple hours to complete. The game is clearly for kids and kids will enjoy it, it sadly doesn’t extend to adults. It doesn’t even extend to a relaxing game I can play with my partner who doesn’t game very often. Played on XSX
