3.5/5 ★ – isolate_connect's review of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Lost Legacy feels both like an extension and retread of the Uncharted series. It’s a solid ten hour experience that has some cool action sequences but nothing that is unique from the first 4. Cool open world level navigated by jeep- check. Awesome train sequence- check. Opening stealth sequence at night time- check. Awesome car chase scene- check. Really fun grapple Hook sequences- check. The problem is that there is nothing new here, and that is okay for a DLC, but this evolved into its own game and it feels very iterative. Chloe as a main protagonist is a missed opportunity. She acts and plays exactly like Nathan Drake. It reminds me of the first season of Parks and Rec where Amy Pohler is still finding her footing with Leslie Knope and she winds up playing her exactly like Steve Carrol, but this is a fault of the writers rather than the performer. Chloe’s performance is on point, and so is Nadine’s. At the end of the day, it’s more Uncharted. That is not a bad thing at all. This outing just feels a little soulless.
