5/5 ★ – jackohdee's review of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

I didn’t get a Switch until the end of 2019. For almost three years, I listened to people singing praise for this game while I eagerly bided my time. It lived up to the hype, and then some. Every inch of this world is worth exploring. It displays that special Nintendo magic at it’s best. The music, the colours, the characters, all coming together to create an unforgettable iteration of Hyrule. I can’t say it’s my all-favourite Zelda - I’ll always prefer the more linear style for this series, and you do lose something with the pared down dialogue. That said, it’s an incredible experience that I will be playing again.
