2/5 ★ – jake84's review of Cronos: The New Dawn.

Just as you thought that Blooper were on a hotstreak with the Silent Hill 2 remake, they take a 100 steps back with Cronos; a clunky, janky, dreary science fiction survival horror title with abysmal controls and design. Not frightening in the least, just really dull. The scarce ammo drops and horrible aiming make certain sections damn near impossible, and I just ending running through most of them. And the enemy design is limited at best. The game is so pretentious and vaguely told it is as if Zack Snyder had made SIGNALIS, and go play that one instead. Cronos takes all the least interesting aspects from Silent Hill, Soma, Dead Space, Alien: Isolation, and Signalis and fuses it all into a soul-crushingly bore of a chore. It is so disappointing that it feels like Callisto Protocol is due for a re-appraisal.
