3/5 ★ – jaymewmew's review of The Suicide of Rachel Foster.

The Suicide of Rachel Foster does some interesting things with its narrative, but the dialogue between Nicole and Irving is too cutesy at times, and the acting kind of stumbles every once and a while. The setting and atmosphere are great - I love the creepy hotel vibes - and I do overall enjoy these types of walking simulator games (such as Gone Home, Firewatch and What Remains of Edith Finch), but I’m ultimately not sure how I feel about this one. The ending doesn’t quite land, and I don’t think the choices the game leaves you with at the finale are earned.
