I played this when it came out and remember it to be a great game. I decided to play it again, just finish it today, this was like my second Castlevania on the series, and the gameplay upgrades were welcomed, I liked all the RPG elements it includes, and the difficulty is enough, is not very hard, except for some rooms on the Battle Arena, but if you go well prepared it is not that hard. I did not like that some of the drops are in the battle arena and will be very difficult or at least time-consuming to get, the game has a lot of replayability and you can expend hundreds of hours if you want to complete 100% of it, the music is also great although I don't usually pay attention to that, the game stands great even now.
