4.5/5 ★ – kubachowicki_'s review of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Replaying the game made me enjoy it way more than I already did before. The story is fantastic, with the Renaissance Rome setting being a big standout and icon in the whole series. Ezio’s outfit in Brotherhood is the true iconic Ezio Auditore da Firenze outfit, and it’s no wonder that every time it’s made a return in later Assassin’s Creed games, it was always the Brotherhood one and not the II or Revelations ones. The amount of side content added was a really big addition and one that improved on ACII. It improved on pretty much everything from ACII from a features perspective: graphics, mechanics, parkour (a bit), combat, equipment, outfit, side content, etc. However, I still don’t think the story is as good as Assassin’s Creed II's, and I think that Brotherhood’s story could’ve been a little bit longer towards the end of the game where all the hefty time jumps happen. The modern day Demond story was also more fleshed out in this game in comparison to AC and II, and it really made me appreciate Desmond’s story more, whereas I didn’t really care for it when I played Brotherhood for the first time. Getting 100% was a lot of fun for the most part, except a handful of optional objectives that were a real chore, rather than a fun and rewarding optional challenge. I also enjoyed getting the platinum trophy.
