It's definitely one of the greatest games of all time in its prime without a shadow of a doubt. I don’t think a game has ever blown up the way Fortnite did in chapter 1. It was even on the news. That being said, it's so sad to see such an incredible game fall from grace so badly. Battle Royale: Chapter 1: Battle Royale was PERFECT. The OG music from seasons 1 and 2, and also the other lobby music that we had from season 3 to the end of chapter 1 were elite and are now so nostalgic. Getting back from school and hopping on Fortnite with the boys was the thing back then. I miss those days. I wasn’t around to experience the game during pre-season, and I only played the TINIEST bit in season 1. I only started properly playing in season 2 (aka the best season). Seasons 9 and X sucked though and I quit halfway through season X as soon as I got the OG music in the battle pass. The seasonal changes, the storyline, the variety of weapons, the map changes, the game was just fantastic. Chapter 2: The downfall of Fortnite. I didn’t play a lot in chapter 2 as I didn't like the game anymore. The only thing I think was good was the Marvel and Star Wars battle pass skins, which I’m really annoyed to not have as I have a movie/game collection of skins. Chapter 3: I came back to the game at the end of chapter 3 season 1, but I mainly came back to play Save the World. The BR still sucked. I didn't like the weapons or the map. The biggest positive was the addition of Zero Build in chapter 3 season 2. Chapter 4: Chapter 4 is the most fun I’ve had on BR since chapter 1. It’s nowhere near as good but definitely the closest we’ve gotten to it. The OG season to end chapter 4 was the best season of Fortnite since... well, chapter 1. I wish they kept it as a Limited Time Mode though coz it was so fun to go back to the og map and weapons. Topping it off with an Eminem concert was also great (as he's my favourite artist). Chapter 5: Chapter 5 started off well, but season 3 was easily one of the worst seasons in all of Fortnite. Save the World: Save the World is super underrated for me. I can also say that I’m a Founder :). I’ve loved it since chapter 1, and whenever I came back to Fortnite after chapter 1 it’s always been to play StW. I remember getting tier 100 and level 80 in BR during chapter 1, then having nothing to grind for, so I spent the rest of the season grinding StW. Yes it’s dead now, but my account is quite stacked, so I still enjoy it every now and again. Also, I can't say no to free V-Bucks.
