horizon zero dawn is the benchmark for every playstation exclusive, period. this game does an amazing job capturing the sci-fi genre, combining the future of robotic dinosaurs with relevant characteristics of the current political climate. As my introduction to the playstation console as a whole, it was a perfect transistion. An agrument used against horizon is that the story becomes convoluted and confusing near the end, the critique rings true. Having to look up youtube videos or pause the game mid cutscene to retell myself the story is annoying and time consuming. However, the game ended consistently, answering the questions posed at the beginning while simultaneously creating new ones to create hype for the sequel.
