4/5 ★ – lupincentral's review of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

While it's difficult to live up to the iconic Jet Set Radio, and to compete with the nostalgia of Dreamcast-era SEGA, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk does a superb job of improving upon the foundations that were laid before it. The controls are far easier to work with, the trick system fun, and the story more fleshed out. I only wish it scaled back on the cops - easily the most frustrating part of the original Jet Set Radio games - and instead had a better balance between them chasing you and how to combat them. They felt like a nucience that detracted from the fun of traversing New Amsterdam. Still a banging game, though. 8/10 Nintendo Switch
