4/5 ★ – massive986's review of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Revisiting Cyrodiil for the… well maybe two handful of times but this time around it has a revised leveling system, improved Ui, and overall just looks amazing compared to the Original TES: Oblivion 2006. It also has share of problems like performance bugs, texturing not rendering, enemy level scaling is the same as the old which is very annoying so try to complete Kvatch quest ASAP after leaving the sewers. Story, questlines, and guilds are still the same character looks are huge improvement graphically. There’s also a new feature which is the sprint button, very useful in certain situations. The revamped leveling system is a lot better to the original oblivion game, attributes are easier to level up. The most notable improvement was Character creation options are a lot better including improved Hair options, eye color, eye design. My female Bosmer archer mage build is literally melting enemies away in dungeons and forts, loot is a lot easier to come by. So far I have over 170+ hours since the day of release but again I have experience a few bugs, Fighters guild Trophy did not unlock (Campion, Fighters guild) 🏆. There’s times I complete, clear or finish a quest and right before I exit a Dungeon location the Game crashes and I loose progress and is not just once is multiple times during my play through. I like make a save or two during quest or dungeon clearing but some say, the saves spamming is what makes the game crash. Overall I give it 4 stars, very nostalgic but a few bumps in the road, definitely recommend this game to new comers to the game and veterans who have played it before.
