3.5/5 ★ – megas's review of Party Hard.
A pissed off neighbor is on a murder spree at the party! On a game that would be best described in comparison to Hotline Miami with its aesthetics nearly emulating that, and its top-down perspective of the floor. And while Hotline has a story, the one for this game is about as surface level and can be summarized as easily with the statement from the very start. The bakers dozen amount of levels ranging from a yacht, house party, and a roof of building in the middle of a city. The levels on this game, while they are short (limiting it to the entire area you see on screen) theres not much out of that, at least there are well over in most cases of your playthrough anywhere from 40 to 60 different targets to take down. While I do many things I do say I like about it, I do have certainly my own comments that I certainly don't like about it. One of them being a big one for me personally, I personally feel that in certain levels where there are places where you believe to be on a lower floor than everyone else I feel as if there is some lack of telling would I be caught doing an action where there is some barrier between me and the victim vs. the witnesses. I don't know how many times I've ran into that problem when I try to do mainly stealthy runs through these levels.
