3.5/5 ★ – mossballdan's review of Grand Theft Auto V.
Maybe in high school I thought this was the pinnacle of gaming, but the story is kinda shit and the characters morales are consistently changing, yet they all remain bad people. Franklin’s the only one you can rely on. He’s constantly saying “what the fuck is wrong with all of you” and he’s RIGHT
Every play through I’ve done I’ve saved all 3 but I felt it was necessary to kill Trevor. Leaving Michael and Frank to live a life of mediocrity free of that fucker’s reign gives me no further excuse to revisit the campaign that’s haunted me for a decade. Let it die I can’t care anymore
I do feel bad for Lamar, the BEST written bad character. I forgot that the “all 3” ending kills Stretch, but if you don’t, Lamar can only come out at night out of fear of getting killed. But he’s also fake and not real
Maybe it was GTA 6 yearning that made me replay this, but I’m glad it’s over with. Onto hopefully a new game
