Playtime: 10.4 hours I am so impressed with the art direction of this game. It’s incredible, and the more I played the more I loved it. First hour was insanely good. The prologue is gorgeous, the art direction, camera angles and just the general vibe are so hooking. After reading all the initial collectables you find, the world already feels very much like my kind of thing. The platforming can be kinda janky and frustrating at times, having to redo the same sections over and over. Might just be a skill issue on my part though. Hacking gets introduced with basically no instruction on what to do. Took me ages to figure it out. The ending bosses were mostly okay, although the combat felt a little repetitive towards the end. The art style, camera angles and background art were amazing throughout, but the story did feel a bit rushed near the end. It felt like it was trying to evoke emotion that I just didn’t really feel. Overall I really enjoyed Replaced. I don’t think I’ve played anything quite like it before. The story was intriguing and the gameplay was fun most of the time.
