4/5 ★ – oldpeculiar's review of Firewatch.

Literally the first real game I played on my Steam Deck when returning to modern gaming. It was quite cozy and I loved the great voice acting, however while I'm a fan of walking simulators this one got tedious from time to time. Plus some missions were unnecessarily vague and required me to watch walkthroughs to complete (like the late bear mission, ugh). Very well crafted emotional arc for the protagonist though. I'm coming from primarily consuming films so this was an ideal intro into new games.
