4/5 ★ – pali's review of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine.

When in 1996 we got Tomb Raider one of my first thoughts were: Wait a minute? This should be Indiana Jones! I would have died for an 3D Indy-game and so far we only had two point & click adventues (and some Amiga, Sega, SNES games which I didn't own). When 3 years later it was time to shine I got big eyes. It was beautiful. The feel, the setting, everything was there. But it played a bit clunky. The graphics aged poorly and the controls are still clunky, where in Tomb Raider you still control Lara pretty ok, but the game still rocks. The levels are awesome and diverse. The puzzles really work out well and with the new mechanic of fighting the baddies now it really felt like being Indiana Jones.
