3.5/5 ★ – peacebrendanp's review of Tiny Glade.

This is a difficult game to review, because there isn't really an objective or goal in mind, other than relaxing and being creative. And, in those latter aspects, this game excels greatly at. The game allows you to relax, and create diorama-like villages (and other creations) to your heart's desire. I have seen so many exceptionally built creations out there, that I didn't even know it was possible. For real, if you want just a relaxing cozy game, this is very high up on that list. The tools are very intuitive to use, and there's some pretty dynamic stuff at play when trying to see how things will fit together. I have about 11 hours in the game. Which, for me, is saying a lot for a game with goal in mind. It's been a literal decade or more since I sat down to just play a fun game, with no objective, other than to just see how the world reacts to your inputs. This game felt so good just to make simple things. I wish there was slightly a bit more here on offer. Like, I wish there were bigger maps. I wish there were the option to manipulate the weather. I wish there were maybe some more specific build / decorate options. It would also be cool if there were maybe some options with NPC's, like the sheep. But, the devs have already updated the game with so much, so I will be on the lookout for what is to come. Hopefully there are some more options added in the game down the road, and if so, I will update this review.
