3.5/5 ★ – radiopomp's review of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.

Getting the chance to replay this over holiday break and recontextualizing it for myself as an absurd examination of Suda51's career packaged as a spinoff starring his most breakout star was really something else. This viewpoint barely makes sense if you're not at least moderately familiar with some of Suda51's prior games, making this an incredibly self-indulgent and niche title, but then it wouldn't be Suda if it weren't self-indulgent. But this is absolutely not the starting point for any newcomer to the series or Suda games as a whole. As a game it's not great. It's pretty tedious and only really starts being fun as a co-op experience. But honestly, I'm here for the writing and the directing.
