5/5 ★ – roonilxwaslib's review of Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!.

This is one of my favorite games and I would 100% recommend. There is an insane amount of game play in this beautiful gem of a game and it is worth a play. This game is a wonderful mix of time management, those old typing games you played as a wee tot, and the best of the "I'm hungry, but too lazy to cook a real meal and will pretend to make one instead" sort of games. The artwork is superb, and for being an insanely stressful mash the buttons type game, it's oddly relaxing. Biggest Differences from CSD 1: * Way more recipes. * Career Mode is now split between tons of different restaurants where you try and gain medals rather than one restaurant where you get to choose the menu. * Side dishes and premade meals! The best part! French fries, hot dogs, onion rings, drinks, salads, etc. are now side dishes which will now be ordered on their own or will be added on to entrée orders. This adds a new challenge to the time management aspect of the game. Pros: * Hours upon hours of content. * Great for playing hours on end or when you just need a quick brain break from work or study. * Amazing artwork. * You can play in a restaurant you create with your favorite recipes, or you can try the pre-made restaurant challenges, of which there are a ton. This really keeps the game fresh long-term. Cons: * If you liked the original CSD, you'll notice there's not as much of a career mode in this. It bugged me at first, but now I think I prefer this one. * Decorating your restaurant can be frustrating when items won't place correctly (although this may have been fixed in the update -- I haven't checked). * There is zero incentive to decorate your restaurant and the item unlock sequence can be super obnoxious.
