2/5 ★ – sewell_sot3's review of Far Cry: New Dawn.

I think the only really good part of this game is the outposts. The increasing difficulty mechanic was pretty cool. New Dawn’s story was a let down, especially after the masterpiece that was Far Cry 5. The boss fights sucked, and Ethan’s fight was unnecessary. After all that shit, I stopped caring. Joseph’s death kinda just happened, and I didn’t really care. I couldn’t give a flying fuck about Mickey and Lou’s tragic backstory, because the gameplay was simply irritating, and I just stopped caring. A little (a shit ton of) work on the story would’ve made New Dawn a worthy sequel to FC5. Also the music sucks. Like, really awful. Like, rip your eardrums from your skull awful.
