2.5/5 ★ – tasteedonut's review of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

This is the second game I've played from publisher mimimi, but the first one they made in the genre of "real time tactics." I played desperados 3 l, the second game in this genre by the same publisher, and loved that game. This game however, lacks a lot of the polish and mechanics that made desperados such an enjoyable experience for me. I also felt the character abilities and level designs led to less creative solutions to problems. I still liked parts of it, but had to push myself to finish it. I like this genre, and I look forward to mimimi's next game in this genre. It looks to be pirate themed with some wackier abilities that will lend really well to this type of game.
