After the credits rolled, I clicked continue. It loaded up right where I'd hoped, just before the final event. I figured I'd try to go experience some of the other events and see some of the stuff I missed. I hovered around the map a bit... and stopped. I just sat there, staring at the screen for a few minutes, and I realized I couldn't do it. I couldn't turn my back on the characters that I had brought all the way to this point. The idea of choosing a different path, of pretending the choices I made didn't matter, felt wrong. It was too sad. The story I played through was my story. The ending was my ending. I hope someday I'll be able to return to Citizen Sleeper and experience it again from another point of view. But at least for today, I'm holding tight to my choices and the weight that they carried.
