5/5 ★ – venti's review of BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!.

one of the best idol rhythm games i've ever played. amazing story, fun gameplay and... gacha. don't really have much to say about the gacha, gacha is gacha. let us first talk about the story. there is a total of 8 bands in the game (theres 1 more but they only have like,, 1 song) each of the bands have their own wonderful story, my personal favorite bands are RAS and roselia. the gameplay is also fun. there are difficult songs and theres a ton of songs (both collab songs, covers, and originals) there's a lot to pick from and all of them are so good. the gameplay is fun but the problem here is your score. unlike other rhythm games, where your score is based off accuracy, your score in bandori is based off how powerful your cards are. so, if you don't care about your score, then gacha shouldn't be really a big deal for you. the gacha is,, gacha. you pull to get 4*s, level them up to increase its power, upgrade skills to make them stronger and last longer, and use the card to get better scores. overall, bandori is a good game also, fun fact: their seiyuus actually do irl concerts and play the instruments their characters play lol (afterglow, pasupare, and hhw don't really do concerts though)
