Honestly, this game has no right ruling as hard as it does and I think if you have a spare $3 and an interest in rpg maker horror, you should check it out. While the story can be a bit predictable at points, I still think it’s an important one to be told. Fans of silent hill will definitely be able to pick out similarities right away. I really enjoyed having David as the main character and he’s definitely my favorite character out of the series so far. I think that some of the combat was a bit clunky with no definitive way to check the crooked man’s health during fights which made these encounters feel tedious. The game is not really that scary as it is emotionally driven which is completely fine since that seems to be what it was going for anyways. Overall, really good experience for the price point.
