3/5 ★ – wariswhack's review of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion.

I wanted to love this. I really did, but I just didn't. As I went on, the game slowly began to feel like a chore to complete, but at the end of the day I am glad I did it. CRISIS CORE REUNION can be a bit much at times. The best thing about this game is it's characters. It brings a lot of joy following the main protagonist Zack Fair around during this game and the stories of well-known characters such as Cloud and Sephiroth are very interesting as well. The gameplay grew a bit stale as I went on. It does not reach the height of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE's combat system. I'm glad I went through with it and completed it, but I wish my experience could have been a little better.
