3.5/5 ★ – whatgoat's review of Indivisible.
An okay story with a lovely cast of colorful characters! The gameplay system seems deep and interesting at first but quickly becomes shallow about halfway through the game when you are able to trivially juggle almost every enemy in the game to death (which gets very repetitive and I often found myself trying to skip encounters). It could have used more interesting gameplay mechanics throughout, instead of saving them purely for boss encounters (especially later ones)
The world was fun to explore, but there aren't too many secrets or hidden things lying about and I barely had to spend any extra time to 100% the game vs just doing a clean blind playthrough. Clocks in at about 25 hours total, so it's on the shorter end for an rpg but it's a pleasant compact experience.
