Very challenging but also very enjoyable, Frogmonster takes the idea of a first person shooter and mashes it with some souls-like\metroidvania while also mixing in it's own ideas. Not only are the bosses designed incredibly well but the enemy variety is so good that you'll lose track of the number of different enemies by the fifth area. The introduction of the bug mechanic is such a great idea, each one you catch gives you a different boost or passive ability. The only negative I truly have for the game is how confusing it can get later on, there are some hardcore metroidvania elements that caused me to wander around for hours not knowing which way to progress. The music is also a bit basic but does the job. Check this out if you want a challenging game filled in some of the best boss fights in the souls-like genre (no joke).
