4.5/5 ★ – yungpaddywan's review of DUSK.

DUSK is a boomer shooter of old, but with a brand new feel. The only thing old about it are its graphics and that’s not a knock. This game looks great. To pair with that, the level design is absolutely superb. Tons of intricate nooks and crannies for players to get lost in either to complete main objectives or discover secrets. The enemies and weapons provide good variety, with enemies being different enough to force you to rotate through your weapons based on the situation. DUSKs’ greatest strength lies within its storytelling and environments. The voice the player will hear throughout the game truly provides a sense of dread and the eerie environments usher you through 30 levels of mayhem on your way to the final confrontation. The biggest influences for DUSK are most definitely DOOM and Quake, and with the passage of time, Dusk Dude may find himself amongst the greats.
