Star Wars: Squadrons. As a massive Star Wars fan, you can imagine my disappointment when I first played this game on PS4 and I had to recognize that it wasn’t for me. That was before I recognized the beauty of playing on story mode. With that out of the way, I revisited this title on my ROG Ally X and just really appreciated the gorgeous look of this game. Every detail is so smooth and clear, easy to like from the cockpit of an X-Wing. Where this game struggles is variety, as you should probably expect in a game where all you are doing is flying and shooting various targets. The story is strong enough to suffice. Suffice enough to have me feel it when a certain character was presumed dead and be glad when it turned out they weren’t. Overall, if you’re a Star Wars fan, play this one. If you aren’t, you can maybe skip this one.
